Kirtan

Join us for 60 minutes of Kirtan led by Richard "Chi" Johnson.

Kirtan is the call-and-response repetition of mantra, set to musical accompaniment of harmonium, drum and tambourine. Simple, yet profound, this practice is known to evoke deeply meditative states, powerful emotional experiences, and is also quite a lot of fun. Kirtan cultivates mental focus, breath control, and community immersion all at once.

Starting with a heart opening cacao and gratitude ceremony, followed by some movement through energy medicine to tune our subtle energy bodies and bring us into harmony and balance. From this place of alignment, we will flow into a guided meditation and sound bath with gongs, singing bowls, chimes and other sound healing instruments. Conscious connected Breathwork can help move stagnant, suppressed or overwhelming energy through the body by over-oxygenating the nervous system.

Come gather in circle and drop into gratitude. The more we bring awareness to what is going well in our life and giving thanks for, the more we attract and create resonance with those frequencies.

Spend the evening with us in studio for a full mind/body/ soul tune up.

We begin with intuitive Yoga at 6 pm. We have a bit of time to ground before starting our Crystal bowl and gong sound bath at 7:30 pm. Feel free to bring a snack to eat in between and all your personal/cozy items for the sound bath, a journal, oracle cards, your friends.

You have arrived. Welcome to our specially curated New Moon offering held by Chi and Caty. This yin inspired journey will weave together astrology, guided meditation, qigong, yin yoga and sound healing. (90 minutes)

Ecstatic dance is a form of dance that requires no previous experience and no specific dance moves. It is a means to freely express yourself in movement through intuition. The ecstatic dance ceremony begins with the opening circle and introduction. Then we will share the rest of the journey within silence and our own energy, just us and the music. A playlist of diverse music will be played for us all to enjoy. The crystal room is open to chill and meditate in if you need a pause. All ages welcome!
